Delete Account & Data
This page explains how to delete your Petory account (provided by Verdo Lab) and the records in it. You can ask us here even after deleting the app. You do not need to sign in to read this page.
1. Delete in the app (fastest)
- Open "More" (「もっと」) in the app.
- Guests choose "Delete all data" (「すべてのデータを削除」). If you moved to a Google or Apple account, choose "Delete account" (「アカウントを削除」).
- Check what will be deleted, then go through two confirmation steps. Finally, type your household name to confirm.
- If you use a Google or Apple account, you sign in again right before deleting to confirm it is you. For Sign in with Apple, the app also revokes the Apple token.
- When you confirm, the server deletes your records, photos and account immediately.
Copies that may remain in backups are gone within 30 days of deletion. Deleted data cannot be restored.
2. If you cannot open the app (ask by email)
Please send us an email with the button below. The subject and a template are filled in.
If the button does not open, write to contact@verdolab.com and include one of the following:
- Your support ID (「お問い合わせ用のID」, shown in the "More" tab of the app)
- If you moved to a Google or Apple account, the email address of that account
What happens next
- We confirm that the request is from you. If you gave an email address, we send a confirmation email to that account's address and treat your reply as confirmation (if you use Apple's "Hide My Email", we send it to Apple's relay address). If you gave a support ID, we check that records exist for that ID and may ask about their contents, such as your pet's name.
- We delete your data within 30 days of confirming, and email you when it is done.
- Copies in backups are gone within 30 days of deletion.
If you deleted the app as a guest and do not have your support ID, there is no way to confirm that the data is yours. For this reason, guest data that has not been used for 365 days is deleted automatically.
3. What is deleted and what remains

| Not deleted | Purchase records kept by the App Store, Google Play and RevenueCat remain for accounting and refunds. Records at RevenueCat are linked only to a pseudonymous in-app user ID, not to your name or email address. |
4. Before you delete
- To keep your records, use "Export records" (「記録を書き出す」) in the app before deleting.
- Deleting the app or your account does not cancel a Petory Pro subscription. On iPhone, go to Settings → your name → Subscriptions; on Android, Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
- Deleted data cannot be restored.
